Bio: Elizabeth is known as a motivating and stimulating speaker. She speaks and trains on a variety of topics concerning intercultural interactions and global leadership, as well as corporate culture and image. She is an accomplished facilitator of expatriate and global business programs and is able to consult with clients on global cross-cultural interactions.
Having achieved a B.A. Honors in Speech and Drama, Elizabeth went on to earn a second Bachelors Degree in Education. Her M.A. focused on cross-cultural education and the development of cooperative learning environments in schools and organizations. She also has advanced qualifications in Psycho- and Socio-Cultural Linguistics, and the Psychology of Learning. Elizabeth taught teacher education at two South African Universities, the University of Durban-Westville and the University of Natal. In Jakarta, Indonesia, she headed her own cross-cultural consultancy. Her recent professional activities in the USA include the delivery of presentations and workshops on how to live and work with people of different cultures. Elizabeth is skilled at developing and writing intercultural curriculum as well as at training intercultural professional trainers. She is a qualified personal image consultant.
Elizabeth's extensive speaking and consulting experience has been polished by her life and work in South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Britain, Holland, Germany, Taiwan, Indonesia and the USA. She has made frequent longer visits to Australia and has traveled extensively in other parts of the world. her languages include spoken German, basic Indonesian, as well as passive Dutch and Afrikaans. She speaks with vivacity and charisma.
